With an extensive history we’ve gained the necessary insight to help expedite the review and approval process of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). Kelly Architecture & Planning approaches architectural design as a multi-disciplined creation. With many years of knowledge and experience, we’ve honed our processes into a structured and efficient way to design buildings integrating the needs of our client. We establish an environment of collaboration in which the client, KAP and the contractor can efficiently work together to bring a project to completion.
Each of our designs is a unique concept based on the culture and need of the client, and the project site.
Kelly has over 30 years of architectural experience, with extensive experience in Healthcare Architecture. Prior to starting KAP in 2004, he spent three years as the Facilities Director at Rideout Health. Being in that role afforded him with a wealth of knowledge of the internal operations of a hospital, and the adverse impact budgets and schedules can have on final project outcomes. What he learned, coupled with his architectural knowledge and experience helped create the process KAP uses in designing a project.
Steve brings over 25 years of experience of architecture and engineering to KAP. His vast experience in project management and engineering experience have been instrumental in helping KAP successfully navigate the OSHPD review and approval process of healthcare projects. His background includes experience not only in healthcare but also with school facilities, commercial buildings and multi-family residential projects. Steve joined KAP in 2007.
